It's a touch on the longish side for a web documentary, but it's more than worth the 18 minutes it'll take to watch Elizabeth St. Phillip's short on The Colour of Beauty.

The piece follows around 24 year old Jamaican/Canadian model Renee Thompson as she relentlessly tries to get one brown foot into the fashion industry door before the modeling world slaps the label of too old on her. Right next to the black girl misnomer.

Look out for the revealing moment when she meets with a Caucasian casting director and he describes her super-svelte physique as being "sliiiiiiightly big, you know..."
