Anything held at that legendary Parisian nightclub, Le Regine's, is bound to be a fete of epic proportions. And last night's This is New York event lived up to the reputation, bringing the frenetic Manhattan energy - and then some - to the PFW festivities.
Hosted by the good folks at GrandLife, MilkStudios, and illevesta, along with designers Billy Reid, Timo Weiland and our pals over at Maguire Steele, the New York via Paris vibe was palpabale; it's always nice to see party snapshots where the guests actually looked like they're having some fun, non?
The fine, young NYC set included everyone from designers Mandy Coon and Prabal Gurung, to models Karlie Kloss and Arizona Muse. Not to mention editors, style directors, and writers from some of the chicest fashion publications around. In short, there was good fun, champers and music to be had for all.
Revelry and Paris Fashion Week parties aside, there was one thing that puzzled me about the scenes from the night: Those shots of Carly Cushnie & Michelle Ochs, top image. How do they always manage to look like the models for their eponymous collection, instead of like typical designers?
Now, this is not to say that typical fashion designers don't look fantastic in their own right. But you get my point.
That black cutout dress on Cushnie? Wicked...
